Antonio Ferrari was a far-sighted visionary who decided to transform WINE in line with his artistic talents.

He chose only dried grapes from the best historic vineyards, and developed his masterpieces by storing them in special “time capsules” where they developed under perfect conditions.

We adhered strictly to the original techniques and opened new time capsules of 4 extraordinary wines which are in perfect condition.

Antonio Ferrari‘s 49 is a 71 year old  wine. It is gritty, decisive and energetic  – featuring over 15% alcoholic content.

It is not a stabilized and stiffened wine with a very specific taste but evolves towards precious flavour that borders on vintage port, long lineage of sherries and of the best vintages. It has a sinusoidal flavour: it blooms immediately, then subsides, only to rise and explode again. Its aroma inebriates, evolves and amazes.

It has already been selected by a fund specializing in collectible wines and has launched in China via Wine Link’s HK and Maison 1899 of Bordeaux. The campaign will continue in France during spring, along with the launch of other wines.

The Baron is a 66 year old wine, strong, decisive, intoxicating with a spectrum of aromas that gradually evolve with oxygenation, taking an unpredictable direction in taste.

Flavours that range in a full-bodied way, flavours of earth, sweet and ripe fruit, aromatic herbs, cinnamon and coffee … a real work of art.

Canestra 78 is only 42 years old  and the strength of a great wine – full and warm aromas and flavours.

 It captivates, amazes and reminds one of a rare and great Madeira.

The ionic Solaria is 61 years old and has a power that explodes through senses. The perfume blossoms immediately,  descends and then rises and explodes again. It’s the winner of 3 gold medals. Parker called it one of the 100 best wines in the world.

Veronelli and other greats  wrote about extraordinary wines and oenological miracles – words that I hear repeated every day.

Antonio would have been proud to know that his wines have been mentioned in the same breath as the Masseto, Mouton Rothschild, Ornelaia and Chateau Lafite etc.

  Clearly, only a select few will be lucky enough to taste them, and witness their opinion and expectations of Vintage wines being revolutionized… strong wines, bewitching, alive, fresh and without any hint of cork.

The new wines – a Primitivo IGt, a Primitivo di Manduria and Primus Augustus will be bottled in March and can be reserved.
